Coverage worth reviewing
- Liability limits appropriate to vehicle weight and contracts
- Regulatory filings where your operation requires them
- Physical damage on high-value units
- Hired and non-owned auto
- Umbrella or excess limits
Where we fit. We work best with established distributors & delivery businesses running several vehicles — often 5 to 50 — with current commercial auto coverage and a renewal coming up. Eligibility depends on the operation and the insurance companies involved.
Questions fleet owners ask
We only haul our own products. Are we a trucking company?
Hauling your own goods in support of your business is generally private carriage, which underwriters view differently from hauling other people’s property for hire. Heavier vehicles can still bring registration and filing requirements, so we look at weights, radius, and where you operate.
Do you also work with for-hire trucking companies?
Yes, for established operations. Hauling for others is underwritten as trucking, with its own requirements. See transportation & logistics.
